Aloe vera demonstrates significant gastroprotective effects via a number of mechanisms. Only the inner gel fillet is used in this product, alleviating any laxative effect.

To soothe esophageal irritation, GI-Encap can be taken out of the capsule and mixed with warm water for a soothing tea.

Recommended Use or Purpose:

Used in herbal medicine as a demulcent to help soothe irritation/ inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.

Recommended Dose (Adults):

Take 1-2 capsules three times daily or as recommended by a health-care practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.

Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) (root) 175 mg

Marshmallow (Althea officinalis) (root) 100 mg

Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) (stem bark inner) 50 mg

Aloe (Aloe vera) (leaf gel) (200:1) 25 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, L-Leucine, Silicon Dioxide.
