- Standardized dose of Urolithin A, a compound produced by a healthy microbiome
- Combined with well-studied health promoting compounds: resveratrol, NMN and the polyamine spermidine
- NMN is a NAD+ precursor
- A synergistic combination for energy metabolism and tissue formation
UROLITHIN A
Urolithin A (UA) is a gut-microbiome-derived metabolite of ellagitannins. Ellagitannins are polyphenolic compounds naturally present in plant foods such as pomegranate, almonds and walnuts.
Upon ingestion of ellagitannin rich foods, these compounds are metabolized into UA by the microflora in the large intestine. The conversion from natural polyphenols to UA is dependent on certain microbiome. Unfortunately, many humans don’t possess the microbiome capable of producing UA. Hence supplementation of UA directly, is being investigated in many populations including sedentary adults.
RESVERATROL
Resveratrol is a plant compound known as a polyphenol and naturally occurs in grapes, dark chocolate, various berries and some herbs.
SPERMIDINE
Spermidine is an abundant polyamine an a factor in the maintenance of good health.
NMN
Finally, NMN is a source of Vitamin B3 that can help to support biological functions.
