This advanced prenatal provides 29 vitamins, minerals, and bioactives that support normal growth and development, energy production, and antioxidant intake, including methylated folate to help reduce the risk of neural tube defects when taken daily at least three months prior to becoming pregnant and during early pregnancy, plus a high dose of choline (300 mg). Formulated with easy-to-digest iron to help form red blood cells and prevent iron deficiency anemia and associated tiredness and fatigue. Finished with probiotics that promote a favorable gut flora and help support gastrointestinal health, this delicious, easy-to-mix prenatal drink makes daily nourishment simple, enjoyable, and effective.
Recommended Dosage: Women (19 years and older) - Add 1 sachet (9.2g) into 250 ml water per day, mix thoroughly immediately before consumption. 400 mcg of folate per day is adequate for most women (to reduce the risk of neural tube defects). Consult a health care practitioner to determine if you would benefit from additional folate before taking this product. Take with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Take at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics.
Caution: Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Ask a health care practitioner before use if you are taking blood thinners, if you have a history of non-melanoma skin cancer or if you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Stop use if hypersensitivity occurs. Stop use and ask a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen and/or persists beyond 3 days.
