These digestive enzymes combine pancreatin, betain, ox bile, papain, and pepsin.

Pancreatic enzymes are the foundation for the digestion and absorption of the food we eat. The aging process and the various diseases that afflict the pancreas can drastically reduce the production of these enzymes and lead to bloating, gas, and feeling of fullness that persist due to impaired digestion. Each capsule of New Roots Herbal’s Digestive Enzymes is formulated with protease, amylase, and lipase to help digest protein, carbohydrates, and fat, respectively.

INGREDIENTS

Each vegetable capsule contains:
Pancreatin 4×	200 mg
Protease	20,000 USP
Amylase	20,000 USP
Lipase	1,600 USP
Betaine hydrochloride	105.3 mg
Ox bile (Bos taurus liver) extract [10:1]	64.8 mg
Papain (Carica papaya fruit)	3.84 mg (384,000 FCC PU)
Pepsin A (324,000 FCC pepsin units)	32.4 mg
Pancreatin sourced from porcine. Betaine hydrochloride equivalent to 10 drops of dilute hydrochloric acid USP. USP: United States Pharmacopeia.
Other ingredients: Vegetable magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and silicon dioxide in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Adults: Take 1–4 capsules daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Take with or immediately before a meal/food. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Use the smallest effective dose which controls symptoms. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
