How does the Salt Lamp Work?
The heated salt crystal pulls water molecules from the air to its surface, the salt goes into the solution of the water, neutralizes any positive ions (and the attached pollution), and emits the neutralized molecule back into the environment.

Caring for your salt lamp:
As salt tends to attract moisture these lamps should not be washed or used in humid situations or outdoors. If they do show signs of dampness turning on the lamp or lighting the candle will dry them out. Ensure first that any electrical parts are dry before using the lamp. Salt lamps can be cleaned by dusting with a soft brush.
