Curcumin has been extensively researched by modern scientists for its various biological activities.

Turmeric provides antioxidants and traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to aid digestion, help relieve flatulent dyspepsia, as a liver protectant, to increase bile excretion by the liver and stimulate contraction of the gallbladder. Turmeric helps to reduce inflammation and relieve joint pain.
