HistaGest DAO֙ is formulated with gastro resistant coated tablets with delayed release technology, allowing the DAO enzyme to reach the small intestine and perform its beneficial action. Taking 1 tablet before each meal helps promote the amount of DAO in the small bowel to help break down histamine in the digestive tract supporting digestive comfort for individuals with sensitivity to histamine rich foods.

Recommended Dosage: Adults 18 years and older: Take 1 tablet 15 minutes before the consumption of histamine-rich foods two times daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Do not crush or chew. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1 month. Refer to the product label for accurate ingredient information, dosing instructions, age-appropriateness, and relative risk statements. Healthcare practitioners are encouraged to use clinical judgement with case-specific dosing based on intended goals, subject body weight, medical history, and concomitant medication and supplement usage.
